What Next? Understanding Your Options After Allotment

Once a seat is assigned, you have three distinct paths depending on your satisfaction with the allotted college:

    1. Accept the Seat (No Upgradation): Report to the designated college within the reporting window, submit original documents, pay the college tuition fee, and secure your admission.
    1. Accept with Upgradation to Round 2: Physically report to the allotted college, finish preliminary document verification and fee payment, and formally opt for "Willingness to Upgrade" on the MCC admission portal to participate in Round 2 for higher-preference choices.
    1. Free Exit (Round 1 Only): If you are not satisfied with the allotted institute and do not wish to join, you do not need to report. In Round 1, candidates can use the Free Exit option without forfeiting their refundable security deposit, remaining eligible for fresh choice filling in Round 2.

Mandatory Documents for Physical Reporting Ensure you carry all original documents along with 2–3 sets of self-attested photocopies:

  • MCC Provisional Allotment Letter

  • NEET UG Admit Card & Rank/Scorecard
